Hot Milk Cake

Ingredients: 
  • For the Cake:
  • 2 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 2 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence 
  • 2 Cups Sugar 
  • 10 Tbsp Cubed Butter 
  • 1 1/4 Cups Milk 
  • 4 Large Eggs 

 

  • For the Topping: 
  • Dewfresh Fresh Cream 
  • Assorted Berries 
Method: 
  1. Place the flour and baking powder in a medium bowl 
  2. Set the mixture aside to use later
  3. Melt the butter on the stovetop and then add milk 
  4. Beat 4 large eggs in a medium bowl 
  5. Add the sugar and vanilla essence to the egg mixture and stir until fully incorporated
  6. Add the flour mixture and stir until there are no lumps 
  7. Add the melted butter mixture
  8. Pour the mixture into a greased pan 
  9. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C
  10. Once completed cut the cake into 6 pieces 
  11. Whip the fresh cream 
  12. Top off the cake with whipped cream and berries
